Everyone’s expression is unique, interesting and a collaborated product of life’s experiences, so is the music, the art and the vision. We carry this essence in everything that is TECHFUI. Our label brings family, friends and fresh talents together, and is built on a strong relationship around the people and their talents. We stay true to our roots, traditions and culture, always forward thinking and cutting edge.
The next step in the evolution of the label sound came from our fellow Dubai based UK friend Nohijo (Lee Sandwith) for the second installment. Nohijo has been releasing for a while and has recently evolved himself to more raw stripped back house and techno feel.
Our first night will Feature:
_ Tolga Fidan
Hailing from Paris Via London Via Istanbul, don’t call our multi-instrumentalist French. Tolga Fidan considers himself Turkish above all else.
Continuing his exclusive roll on Vakant, Tolga most recently let loose his third installment "All Pleasure Is Relief EP" (VA018), a moving, evolving, and sprawling electronic soundscape. This last work perhaps best illustrates the breadth of Tolga scope incorporating a multi ethnic feel, showcasing his musicality, and redrawing techno boundaries.
Together with Vakant, Tolga Fidan’s bottomless sound, constantly morphing arrangement, and eclectic sound design that somehow points towards the orient have taken him so far in so little time.
_ Nohijo:
Lee Sandwith, aka Nohijo, started to develop an obsession with electronic music in his early teens after being introduced to acid house. After a few years of travelling around the country, mis-spending his youth in some of the best underground clubs in the UK’s Northern hemisphere, Lee Sandwith, aka Nohijo, started a life-long journey of discovery into house music, releasing his music on several well-respected labels and gaining support from some of the scene’s most established names.
_ Nasrawi:
One of our favorite Local DJs, Nasrawi who’s part of the Analog Room family never fails to impress and amaze us. One thing is for certain, every time Nasrawi hits the stage, he will take your ears on a magical journey of unicorns, rainbows and dolphins, and probably sea turtles too.
He will be sharing the Decks B2B with our very own Salah Sadeq.
_ Salah Sadeq | Techfui:
Being the founder and involved in such entities / brands as 'Andco.", "Techfui", and "The Crate" he obviously has no plans to slow down any time soon.
Recognized across continents as a serious performer has also seen Salah feature guest mixes for Electronic Groove, Frisky Radio, Tech Trip, and Warped.
He has a unique ability to keep a room full of people grooving for hours. Once you’ve heard one of his sets, you’ll definitely want to come back for more.
_ CIRYL aka Cyrill Reaidy :
Ciryl was born and raised in Jounieh (Lebanon) where he picked up mixing as a means to share his love for music. After relocating to Dubai almost two years ago, he aimed to develop his passion through collecting and playing vinyl, as well as experimenting with his noise making toys.
