It’s hard to think of someone more equipped to take up our live-stream vinyl challenge than renowned vinyl digger, accomplished DJ and We Play House Recordings co-founder, San Soda. When he’s not lost deep in the vinyl crates, he’s spinning some of his unearthed gems around the world from Dimensions Festival in Croatia to Rose Quartz Festival in Australia and everywhere in-between.
Playing a fusion of deep house and soulful techno sprinkled with elements of disco, electro and more than a good helping of exquisitely chosen wild cards, Belgium-born, Berlin-based Soda’s sets are anything but dull. With an impressive catalogue of releases on We Play House, it is easy to hear that San Soda traverses genre, soaking in a wave of invitingly warm albeit 90s minimal one minute and some decidedly upbeat house with a devilish bass line the next.
This is a Wax Hounds not to be missed.
