This year, for the first time in Tauron Nowa Muzyka Festival’s 11 year history, one if it’s Before parties, which lead up to the main event in August, will take place outside of Poland – and in no other than the Berlin club – Berghain. Before TNM2016 Festival lineup at Berghain includes: Venetian Snares, RSS B0YS and Nervy.
Berghain is a legendary techno club - institution not only in the German capital but also worldwide. It’s been active for over a decade in a disused power plant, and is famous for marathon long dj sets from all techno heavyweights one can imagine, it’s intense soundsystem and the peculiar gate selection disallowing any unwanted guests from entering. The man behind this peculiar selection is legendary Sven Marquardt. Berghain’s residents include Ben Klock, Marcel Dettman. Berghain is also Ostgut Ton record label, releasing material from Function, Shed, Nick Höppner, Steffi, and both of the aforementioned DJ’s / Producers.
For the Before Festiwal Tauron Nowa Muzyka on May 3rd we have invited the relentless Canadian master of breakcore – Venetian Snares and two polish electronic music projects – masked experimenters RSS B0YS duo and Nervy, a live project coordinated by Agim Dżejlili.
