Thanks so much to all of you who joined us to witness a very special night with Mike Servito a couple weeks ago for our first party at Bleury. The energy in that room was next to none. But the days are getting longer and there's no time for a come down.
So, we've brought together two of our favorite producers to take control of Newspeak and officially say goodbye to winter.
Martyn needs no introduction. His sound has been constantly evolving and expanding since his first release in 2005. Over the last couple years, his albums on Ninja Tune and Brainfeeder, EPs on Dolly and Ostgut Ton, and his own influential record label 3024 have left a serious mark on electronic music. We've seen him DJ all over the world and couldn't be more excited to have him join us in Montreal.
Lauer, a true unsung hero, will be flying in from Frankfurt specially for this night. If you've seen any of the 00:AM crew DJ in a club, an afterparty, or a weird living room kick on, you've heard a Lauer track. Under his own name and in the duos Tuff City Kids, Arto Mwambe, and Hotel Lauer he has released countless records and remixes on labels like Permanent Vacation, Running Back, Beats In Space, and Live At Robert Johnson (just to name a few). We've always dreamed of bringing him to our neck of the woods and finally the stars have aligned.
