Increasingly strict licensing laws, rising property prices, new housing too close to existing venues, and a lack of understanding about the benefits of night culture have all played their part in eroding our nightlife. The statistics tell the same story: in the last decade, the number of UK clubs and live music venues has almost halved.

The Night Time Industries Association has launched a nationwide campaign to show just how much people across the UK love nightlife. #nightlifematters is an opportunity to show your support, on social media, via our petition, and through your own events. With your help, we have the power to change the game, and ensure that we continue to have a thriving, exciting nightlife.
