COCOON IBIZA 2016 1st AUGUST
We may as well make it quite clear now. This, our 17th year on the island, is evolving into a many splendoured thing. There is a deliciously dangerous momentum. 2 weeks ago Sven in the main room and Ricardo on the terrace left us all with our mouths open. Last Monday it was off the dial. Sorry for all of you that had delays getting in, all we can say is a) that it was worth it and b) this is a season when it pays to get down early. Music to die for is on offer from minute 1. Sven, Solomun, Ilario, Ben UFO and Ryan Elliott thank you all for a proper monster on the 25th July
Now look what is coming your way on the 1st day of August. Holy cow.
IN THE CLUB :
SVEN VÄTH
All of you in the main room 2 weeks ago will of course be back again if you lucky enough still to be here in the sunshine. Simply unmissable what is going on here. Amazing session last week of course in a rammed extremely excitable Amnesia terrace with Solomun only adding to the decadent atmosphere. But here we are back in the main room with a bloke who knows every corner and crevice and therefore makes it sound so very different. He toys with us here.
ÂME
It is the DJ version of Âme and Kristian took care brilliantly of our sister party @ Tipic Formentera a Thursday or 2 ago. Now let him warm your toes up on another stage with his trademark involving sound that is hard to classify. It thunders along but in a very cheeky way, a lot of sweet swirly bass for your buck.
ON THE TERRACE :
RICARDO VILLALOBOS
2 weeks ago we not only had Sven at his majestic best but Ricardo stormed the terrace and played a truly remarkable set and these were two shows that sit on some sort of other level. When it happens you just know, don't waste time analysing how or why. Just come along 2 weeks later and see what they both got this week. As far as Ricardo goes this is just his second gig on the terrace this season and we would not miss it for the world.
SETH TROXLER
Yes there is more. The man with the child in his eyes and so much more in his lunch box joins us for the only time this season and please make the most of him. Whenever he shares a stage with Ricardo, a long time fellow warrior, we are all gonna get well and hear some first class genre defying sounds. The mighty Seth Troxler
CRAIG RICHARDS
As if all the above were not enough we also present a bona fide London legend behind one of the longest and most important residencies at one of the most important and influential clubs in the world. Fabric. Craig has maintained a Saturday night presence there for so many years it makes us feel old. Step up very early tonight and take in a couple of hours of a proper stylist.
Number 10. A gorgeous mouthful.
There is no other night that can do this. Worth saying that again
