COCOON IBIZA AT AMNESIA 29th August 2016
After the pandemonium of the previous week no one was in the mood to slow down. 2 floors, 5 fantastic artists and dancing that this year just will not stop. Sven was punctuated in his all night long in the Club by a surprise and really brilliant appearance by Matthew Dears Audion Live. The Club rocked again and over on the terrace Mano, Âme and Nastia were not going to be overshadowed. A beautiful balance once again
This week as usual we believe we have all the answers for your musical mood as we present number 14 of a season that, even with 5 more to come, is already memorable….
ON THE TERRACE:
RICARDO VILLALOBOS
The last two terrace shows were stupendous. On both occasions Sven was in the main room also on his finest form and many would say Cocoon flies on a different level on these occasions. It does, these guys have the most brilliant previous. Tonight Ricardo rules the roost and we just cannot wait for what he pours onto the dance floor this week. It is one of those years
RARESH
It has been a while but here comes a gentleman more equipped than almost anyone to warm up your toes for this third Villalobos terrace adventure. Forget that for now, Raresh is so vital all on his own and on so many levels. One of the few we think of who can match his effervescence and sheer pleasure in dishing out the good stuff is :
SONJA MOONEAR
The third from Sonja this year, it is a joy watching her scale the heights and develop into a performer of such depth and variety. Three good friends on the terrace tonight and we urge you to savour every minute. Join us here from 12 o’clock sharp
IN THE CLUB :
BEN KLOCK
Stealthily Ben Klock has become a feature main room performance in a Cocoon Ibiza season, and we stand by that even in an enormous year like this one. His is a sound that over a decent sized set will unravel beautifully before you. This Monday listen carefully, there may be some more BK coming your way. Watch this space.
SCUBA
This charming man flips into something rather different when he is up there on the decks in the main room. Remember that night in July with Adam & Ida back to back ? And that room closing June show? You get some beautifully placed bangs for your bucks with Scuba. Immerse yourself again, this his last with us this season
MARKUS FIX
Long time Cocoon performer and even opening up tonight he will take no prisoners in the main room. No matter, is one of the things we love about him. You always know when you have been fixed
