After a raucous maiden voyage, the Carried Away series is back with two more seaborne parties for the disciples of electronic music. Some of house and techno’s most beloved producers, foreign and domestic, are being culled to marshal a lush dance floor on The New York Harbor. August 27th features the Switzerland’s Deetron, a veteran of the international club scene with an affinity for early Chicago and Detroit sounds, as well as South Africa’s Culoe De Song, beloved for his Zululand-inspired rhythms on the Soulistic and Innervisions imprints.
Once again, the party is slated to set sail on the Circle Line, embarking from the Pier 83 docks with kaleidoscopic décor in tow. After the cruise, the party moves to Brooklyn’s House of Yes! where the producer, club-owner and Playa icon Behrouz takes the reigns. Expect an unforgettable night of top quality sounds at two of New York City’s most unique locales.
