Agmp presents: Mammal Hands and Pete Josef

  • Drawing on influences from Steve Reich to Bonobo and Pharoah Sanders to Cinematic Orchestra, alongside elements of North Indian and African music, the Mammal Hands trio's music is at times wistful and melancholic and others raucous and catchy. Evoking a range of moods, from delicate and subtle to explosive and frantic, blending thoughtful compositions with spontaneity and interplay they have been wooing audiences on the road from the Norwich Arts Centre to Mostly Jazz Birmingham, King’s Place London, Band On The Wall Manchester and most recently Love Supreme Glynde. With their debut album 'Animalia' forthcoming on Matthew Halsall's Gondwana Records we're very excited to have the band on board for the Jazz Cafe launch. Man of the moment Pete Josef also joins the bill, with his latest album Colour reaching critical acclaim in 2015 and making runner up for 'Track of the Year' in Gilles Peterson's highly esteemed Worldwide awards. **Dining tickets are now available at thejazzcafelondon.com**
