- Portico has transpired from a series of evolutions; from their original album, Knee-Deep In The North Sea in 2007 as Portico Quartet, they have since become a trio with a new name and a whole new approach to music making. What has come out of this progression are works which are more fitting to the seminal Ninja Tune record label with who they now release. Sparse yet resounding with use of drum machines, found sounds and vocals, their totally new advance towards electronic production has lead them to a catalogue of tracks which bleed together to form a landscape with which you can listen for days.
