After a sellout debut in November, Matthew Dekay returns to The Pickle Factory on 3rd June for another special all night long DJ performance.
Matthew has been a central figure in the European underground scene for over fifteen years. Having cut his teeth growing up in Haarlem, the Netherlands during the 90s, Dekay relocated to Berlin in 2009, and together with friend and frequent collaborator Lee Burridge, released their seminal ‘Wongel’ EP on Cecille Records to warm critical acclaim.
Matthew hasn't looked back since: his label All Day I Dream launched in 2011 with a series of sell-out parties in Brooklyn; while solo releases for Maeve, Aras and Innervisions have found their way into the record bags of the world’s finest selectors. As a DJ, Dekay is the definition of a reliable old hand. He’s played all over the world since his residency in Haarlem’s Stalker club during the early 2000s, and as his debut in The Pickle Factory keenly demonstrated, is as comfortable playing all night long sets in intimate clubs as festival stages and arena gigs.
