Sync 24, or Phil to his mum, has been making sure proper electro stays relevant in the modern era for over a decade, with a string of personal releases strectching back to 2003. His own imprint, Cultivated Electronics, acts as a home for his own and other like minded projects, and its output proves that electro's stripped back and anarchic grooviness is as essential now as it has ever been. After getting into him via a stormer of an EP on Sheffield's CPU records, we had to check out his live set at the Electrix records showcase at Bloc and he certainly didn't disappoint- a calvacade of clattering rhythms and chilly synth business was one of the highlights of the whole weekend. He brings his live show to our tiny wee venue for the night, and certainly won't disappoint.

This girl power duo providing a lesson in how house music should be done! After seeing them at the Teulu party, we couldn't resist getting them back to back for this one. one being a Freerotation resident and the other the founder of the ever growing Housework night who have had the like of Sven Weissman and Call Super play in the most forward thinking venues of Bristol.

Medallion Man is co-founder and resident of Loose Lips. He started playing on the radio, developing an unique take on experimental and electronic music. Animating several shows on different stations during the last years, he regularly offers listeners 2 hours of varied sounds.
His current project is with Radar & MEATtransMISSION in which his Loose Lips show invites artists for guest mixes and interviews on a weekly basis. He plays regularly around the UK and Europe, maintaining a regular presence at South West parties. Expect eclectic sets, excitingly switching the tempo and genres.
