lineup -TYGI Well-known DJ/producer, Chinese-born and based in Shanghai. Her music journey started with a passion for Detroit techno. TYGI started spinning in parties in the UK back in 2013 then moved to Shanghai in 2014. She fell in love with the variety and width of the local music scene and decided to pass this very special atmosphere and Philosophy Of Sound on to her fellow followers, sharing her passion and love for house music. She quickly got her name out there: she's often seen at clubs, events and festivals all over the world. TYGI also organises alternative nights, outdoor events and festivals under the name of Guilty Pleasure. She was voted “Shanghai It Girl” by That's It magazine as the uprising new face who leads the music industry in 2015. TYGI releases her podcast on SoundCloud and Xiami every month and you can download them for FREE! -Marcos Godoy (ES) In 1996, Marcos Godoy early musical experiences started mixing tapes, his first influences were rooted in the 70's such as Bob Marley, Jimi Hendrix, The Doors, Janis Joplin…. discovering electronic music in a small teashop run by local Djs in his hometown Ourense. Since he decided to move to vinyl, purchasing turntables and mixer in a second hand shop. His first vinyl was the album Code 4109 by DJ Krush; downtempo, lounge, trip hop and lounge were the styles that Marcos was constantly listening until he came across Jazzanova, characterized by nu-jazz, latin and house jazzy rhythms. Marcos first gig was in 1999 in the aforementioned teashop, moving to local clubs such as El Zoco and coincidentally Shanghai, where he was mixing from funky to house and deep house grooves that became his signature sound. Due to his studies Marcos moved to Helsinki, Finland in 2005, where he was spinning at the underground venue named Redrum, where he had the pleasure to meet Jori Hulkkonen, one of the best Finnish electronic musicians.
