As true veterans of the grime scene, Newham Generals are one of the most well-respected acts coming out of London in recent history, having remained at the forefront of the underground scene for the past two decades. First rising to fame on pirate radio waves, D Double E & Footsie went on to lead successful careers as MCs and producers, both individually and as a duo- and their relentless work-ethic has been well documented. When they’re not creating fire in the studio, they’re touring some of the world’s most prestigious nightclubs and festivals.
Joining D Double & Footsie is one of grime & UK rap’s most enigmatic and elusive figures, CASisDEAD. Hidden behind a mask, CAS tends to let his music do the talking, and has risen to fame via a string of hard-hitting, straight-talking tracks over the past few years.
Rounding off the bill is Spyro, who as a broadcaster, dj & producer is one of the most versatile figures in contemporary grime.
