Game-changing Ibiza techno party ANTS will make its first appearance in the United States at Electric Zoo: Wild Island! Since its inception in 2013, ANTS has developed into a premiere name on the island of Ibiza, with a reputation for captivating, intelligent dance music that never compromises on energy or swagger during its Saturday night residency at mega-club Ushuaïa.2016 will be the year the ANTS colony marches worldwide, with debut dates in Malta and London to precede ANTS’ stateside unveiling at Electric Zoo. “We are really happy to be a part of this amazing festival, to have the opportunity to bring our brand to New York, and to share a little piece of Ibiza with the American Colony,” says ANTS founder Yann Pissenem. History being made never sounded so good! The lineup ANTS has curated for Wild Island cherrypicks the very best artists from across the tech-and-house spectrum. Joris Voorn will headline the night with his evocative, cinematic selections. Multi-faceted Italian all-stars Davide Squillace and ANTS resident Andrea Oliva will keep the techno appropriately heavy, while Russian techno upstart Julia Govor will add a touch of subtlety to proceedings.
