Initiated into the Lola ED family in 2014, Hanfry Martinez is an artist who the French crew had been following for some time. Hanfry comes from sunny Tenerife in the Canary Island but is now based in Berlin, a city where he believes he will reach his full potential. DJ, producer and label owner, he has not only caught the attention of the Lola ED crew, but he has also attracted interest from some of Europe’s most influential club spaces; fabric in London, Watergate and Chalet in Berlin, Goa in Madrid, Bibliotechina (Rome), Six Dogs (Greece), City Hall (Barcelona) and Industria Club (Portugal) among them.
Hanfry started off as a resident DJ and promoter in his hometown, before his rise to prominence in Europe. The industry-respected Vicious Magazine nominated a highly promising talent, in 2013 Hanfry in the ‘Best Spanish Artist’ and ‘Best Deep House DJ’ categories. And with a string of quality EPs like ‘Distraction Way’ and ‘Hasta Luego primo’ on Terence:Terry:’s La Vie En Rose, or ‘Vamos Mi Niño’ with Javier Carballo on One Records and more recently the killer ‘Misterio’ EP on Taverna Tracks it’s clear to see why he has garnered so much support from his peers. He’ll soon be part of a immense new various artists releases from Hector’s brand new label, Vatos Locos – a platform based around a family ethos, with Hanfry one of several key members of the dynamic new crew.
As well as several key solo EPs, Hanfry has also released and remixed on Culprit, Politics Of Dancing Records, Get Physical, Nordik Net, Esperanza, La Drumma, 1trax, Readymade and Hot Creations.
On top of his solo work, Hanfry has initiated two separate two-man projects, the first of which is a joint production alias with the legendary Justin Harris as House Of Warez. Justin got in touch after hearing some of Hanfry’s joints – they began to work together finding their taste in music was very similar and so began the House of Warez. Their debut release came on cult underground imprint ( djebali ) presents and the duo have been working on more collaborations for the future.
Hanfry’s collaborative work also includes a mighty ensemble comprised himself Hector and Javier Carballo. The trio brought serious heat to Overall Music with a firing vinyl-only release, which included a superb remix from Guti. Watch this space for more from both of Hanfry’s collab projects…
Besides that, in 2010 Hanfry started his own label Overall Music with close friend and fellow Canarian Javier Carballo. Hanfry says the aim is simply to “create an original and innovative sound that stays true to our influences”. Standout EPs include ‘Nothing Written’ and ‘Off Days’ from the label bosses, while the calibre of guest artists includes a range of respected talent from Livio & Roby, Maya Jane Coles, Subb-An and Guti to Djebali, Jef K, Adam Shelton and John Dimas. In 2016 they will spend the year celebrating their fifth anniversary with a series of label showcases and some very special releases, including solo EPs from both label heads and a huge various artists compilation.
It’s clear that, as 2016’s juts started, Hanfry Martinez will continue to push forward in his quest for greatness…

After several years developing as a DJ and playing in most of the great clubs and emblematic festivals of the Canary Islands, Fran Cabello has managed to infiltrate the upper layers of the electro-artistic atmosphere of the islands. Fran´s way of adaptation into different styles, venues and crowd, has made his musical range a sign of identity. His committed through different styles research translates into expertise and communicate that, without abandoning the seriousness, makes its sets in a pleasant surprise.

Ivaylo is the last of the true Deep House soldiers, where deep is a feeling rather than a sound and House is an attitude more than a genre. His career is rooted in Communist Bulgaria where as a youngster he played the drums and collected rare Jazz tapes his father helped procure from shadowy figures. It wouldn’t be long before Ivaylo would journey into electronic music, turning his attention from rare Jazz tapes to drum and bass and eventually House. Ivaylo remembers crackling telephone calls from this time, requests for friends to bring over the latest records from places like London, records that shaped Ivaylo’s love for House music and his perpetual love for the party and the colour in music.
As Bulgaria shook off the last of its communist sensibilities and became a republic, Ivaylo took to the beaches of his hometown in Varna and fell in love with the deep house sound floating over from the states. LTJ Bukem opened up this world for the latent Bulgarian DJ, and when the first house club, Comics opened in post-communist Bulgaria, Ivaylo became an essential member of the family as a programmer for the venue, bringing over the rising Deep House stars from the states, producers and DJs Ivaylo would eventually call friends. These friends would include people like Patrick Turner from Baltimore, whose invaluable production experience helped cement Ivaylo’s own skills in the studio. It was a time of deep exploration for Ivaylo and with friend and mentor Johnny Fiasco pushing the Bulgarian DJ forward Ivaylo soon started displaying the skills behind the decks that would see him travel the world as an underground House DJ in demand.
Ivaylo would play everywhere from London to Moscow and in the early 2000’s Ivaylo settled in Oslo, while preaching the wave of deep house, taking in the influences of his newly adopted home while expanding on his own musical education. A regular fixture in Oslo’s music scene since he’s played a fundamental part in bringing Deep House to the region through events, festivals and recently his own label, Bogota Records. Established out of Oslo in 2014, the label is Ivaylo’s love for music and the deep personified through the music of his peers and his solo work. The Bogota family is an international one, with new Friends joining old Friends like Johnny Fiasco, who masters all the label’s releases and appears on some of the remixes from the label. Since its inception Bogota has been lighting up on-line charts like Traxsource, Beatport and with the label now in its second year a showcase component has also been added to the label, showcases that will be travelling to Berlin and Barcelona and extend the Bogota family.
Ivaylo will invariably join these showcases bringing the love and the deep in his sets wherever he goes, and when he’s not working on his next release for Bogota, you will find him behind a set of decks, doing what he does best.
As resident for one of the most known clubs in Europe nowadays, Jaeger in Oslo, Ivaylo´s sets at the club keeping strong the focus in deep house.
With gigs on three continents, Ivaylo is a name worth to explore!

Кариерата му в музиката тръгва от комунистическа България, където като младеж свири на барабани и събира рядко намиращи се за времето си джаз касети. Не отнема дълго време преди Ивайло да започне своето пътешествие в електронната музика, обръщайки вниманието си към дръм енд бейс и като крайна точка House.
След като България се оттърсва от комунистическата вълна и става република, Ивайло активно започва да следи навлизащите в страната нови жанрове на музика и бързо се влюбва в дълбокия саунд, който чува за първи път от световно известният продуцент и DJ, LTJ Bukem. Не след дълго с отварянето на емблематичния клуб Comics, Ивайло става член на семейството и малко по-късно един от основните букъри на клуба, в който се изявяват нарастващите за времето си имена в дийп хаус сцената от Щатите, с които в последствие Ивайло изгражда дългогодишно приятелство. Приятелството му с DJ и продуцента Patrick Turner от Балтимор, циментира уменията на Ивайло в студийната работа. Постоянния съпорт и менторско влияние на друг добре познат на Българската сцена DJ и продуцент Johnny Fiasco от Чикаго, играят значителна роля в развитието на Ивайло, като DJ който за период от няколко години съвместна работа води до участия на световно ниво.
С участия от Лондон до Москва, в началото на 2000 г. Ивайло се установява в Осло, където твърдо прокарва дийп хаус вълната, както и силно развива собственното си музикално образование. Като постоянна фигура в музикалната сцена на Осло, Ивайло оказва централна роля в развитието на жанра, чрез редица участия по клубове и фестивали в Скандинавската столица и държавa, със собственния си лейбъл, Bogota Records. Основан през 2014 г., лейбълът е етикет за любовта на Ивайло към музиката и платформа за издаване на соло продукции, както и колаборации и издания от добре познати имена на световната хаус сцена. Семейството на Bogota Records е изградено на основата, приятели срещат стари приятели. С Johnny Fiasco, който мастерира продукциите на Bogota Records, името на лейбъла бързо попада в световно известните чартове на Traxsource и Beatport. Вече във втората си година на съществуване лейбъла вкарва и компонент за шоу-кейсове, където група от артистите на Bogota Records представят последните издания и собственни DJ умения по клубове в Берлин, Барселона и Осло. С постянно присъствие на тези шоу-кейсове, Ивайло твърдо държи със себе си любовта и дълбочината в сетовете си.
Като резидент на един от най-известните клубове в Европа в днешно време (Jaeger Oslo), сетовете на Ивайло там продължават силно да поддържат фокусът към дийп хауса.
