Building off the momentum of last year’s much talked about “listed Loves Mobilee” rooftop label showcase, listed Productions is teaming up this year with Resonant Vibes, with the support of Resident Advisor, to present an exclusive showcase of Cécille & Oslo Records during WMC 2009. Both labels, based in Mannheim, Germany, have managed to successfully intertwine the worlds of house and techno. These labels are equipped with enough buzz to take this year's Conference by storm!
Both Cécille and Oslo Records have artist releases that read like a who’s-who of producers that set 2008 on fire with solid releases, names like SIS, Johnny D, Christian Burkhardt, and Nick Curly to name a few. It is almost impossible to talk about one label without mentioning the other as many of the artists appear on both imprints, a sentiment that speaks to the thriving, family-like techno community that spreads far beyond the city limits of Berlin. With a lot of focus on these labels in 2009, this organic pairing will be situated oceanside for an all-day lounge and poolside party. Expect live sets from Christian Burkhardt and Johnny D, and DJ sets from Nick Curly, Livio and Roby, as well as Oslo label bosses Federico Molinari and Nekes.
This eleven-hour party will run from 12pm to 11pm on Saturday, March 28th at the Victor Hotel, situated in picturesque South Beach on Ocean Drive. Additionally, the Victor Hotel poolside will feature listed artists Maetrik, Jason Short (live), Hac Le and Nikita, plus listed friend Martin Landsky and more Surprise Guests. With the help of our sponsors, listed Productions is planning to raise the bar on the ridiculousness, showing the WMC faithful yet again what it is truly like to get listed.
