Emerging as one of the great, idiosyncratic talents from the 90s Detroit house scene, Omar S has never looked back, going on to achieve legendary status amongst his peers and fans alike. One of the most unpredictable and mysterious personalities in the game, Omar can be found posing next to sports cars, entitling one of his records ‘It Can Be Done, But Only I Can Do It’, and famously producing a fabric mix consisting of only his own productions, but he no doubt has the talent to back it all up. With an individual approach to house music that is infused with funk, soul and groove, Omar’s discography is filled with classics aplenty, and his dj sets reflect the same level of expertise. We can’t wait for him to touch down at XOYO!
He’ll be joined by one of the most eminent underground production duos to emerge out of the South Pacific in recent years, Auckland’s Chaos In The CBD. With further support coming in the form of Matt Karmil.
