LA-based producer Blake Robin (aka Luxxury/Baron bon Luxxury) has been making waves in the disco community over the past two years with his controversial Luxxury edits. This series of dubby, slow disco remixes highlights buried gold in the original multi tracks of classic songs, making the familiar more exciting by unearthing unexpected treasure - or simply making old classics sounds new and fresh.
Luxxury has been remixed by the likes of Atlantic Records artist Melani Martinez, Greg Wilson, Scissor Sisters solo artist De Marquis Slow Knights among others, joining Luxxury’s venerable remix discography alongside Little Boots, Glass Candy, Health and many more. Along with a busy touring schedule for 2016, Luxxury also has a half dozen original songs sounding like LCD Soundsystem, Caribou and then remixed by Todd Terje, as well as new songs that are heavily steeped in classic West Coast sunshine vintage disco vibes.
This is a rare chance to see the Luxxury in the UK and therefore entrance will be extremely limited, as such we would advise booking in advance.
