The minimalistic Berlin imprint Vakant has been a staple of the Berlin clubbing scene since 2004. Helmed by Alex Knoblauch, the label has welcomed a tight knit family of producers into the fold over the years with appearances from Robag Wruhme, Dario Zenker, Alex Smoke, Onur Özer and more over the intervening period. Sitting somewhere between labels like Perlon and Cocoon, the sheer output has arced over everything from catchy melodies, vivid emotion and driving, floor-focussed percussion.
