We've spent the first half of the year pushing some sweet house sounds from overseas guests like Soichi Terada and Jack J, stretching out the summer vibes for as long as we possibly could. Well, now that the cold has solidly set in, it's time to turn to some darker shades of dance to help us party through the winter. Our next headliner, direct from New York:
GUNNAR HASLAM
One of America's most interesting and inspiring new faces, Haslam burst onto the scene in 2013 with his first release—a full album for celebrated Brooklyn label L.I.E.S., no less—and since then it's been all systems go. Smashing out records on imprints like Mister Saturday Night, Argot, Delsin and Naïf, this prolific techno talent has been in total domination mode from day one. He's also teamed up with Picnic alumnus Tin Man for Romans, a project which has the spectacular result you'd expect: a delectable acid-techno cocktail. From the dark and dissonant to the lush and lofty, Haslam is a force to be reckoned with.
