Grown out of an old airport hanger in Ibiza, Circo Loco, the ‘crazy circus’, is undoubtedly one of the most well-known club brands in the world. Celebrating its 10th birthday last year, Circo Loco built its name by playing the most cutting edge house and techno, having the wildest and sexiest crowd, and some of the best DJs in the world as residents. Clubbers flock to DC10, Ibiza every Monday morning, to carry-on partying at the all-day, hedonistic party that’s now gone international, from Ibiza to Tokyo, New York to London … and now to Perth.
Every Monday morning from June to October hedonistic clubbers are lured to DC10 for the carnival-like atmosphere of Circo Loco, the all-day long afterhours started by Italians Antonio and Andrea Pelino back in 1999. Circo Loco means crazy circus and it’s the party where the beautifully wasted come together in Ibiza. Besides the colourful characters (some might even say caners) who make Circo Loco what it is, there are also its resident DJs who spin underground house and techno alongside the international guest DJs who hound Andrea and co. for an invitation to play.

One of the European Union’s newest nations is currently the source of its hottest dance music. Romania signed on the dotted line on January 1, 2007, and ever since a new minimal party sound has been migrating towards the West.
Champions of this new techno wave are RPR Soundsystem, otherwise known as Raresh, Pedro and Rhadoo, a hotly-tipped DJ collective that took Ibiza by storm last summer and hailed by the media as “Techno’s new Messiahs”.
