Man Power began as an anonymous musical enigma, incorrectly identified as DJs John Talabot, Michael Mayer, Andrew Weatherall. After two years he decided to drop the veil and Englishman-in-Mexico Geoff Kirkwood stepped forward. Now he is FINALLY stepping into Lights Down Low!
Featured as one of XLR8R’s best new artists of 2015, this year has seen him play live on BBC Radio 1 and at esteemed spots such as Panorama Bar, Air Tokyo, fabric London Glastonbury festival, to shows in Japan, New York, Tel Aviv and the Middle East. He has amazing and eclectic releases on Throne of Blood, Hivern Discs, Infine, and more.
He was listed in the Mixmag top 6 along with Black Madonna and Shamir. His podcast for XLR8R is a favorite here at Lights Down Low and he has a song called Planet Cock. It doesn’t get better than that.
