Counterchange was created by Ed Davenport (aka Inland) back in 2013 to be an outlet for Inland's incredible music with releases from the likes of Cassegrain, Roman Lindau, Nubian Mindz, Force/Emerge and Savas Pascalidis.
For this show we have Efdemin joining the crew as a special guest. Efdemin's DJ sets can only be described as a lecture in tightrope walking. From being lost in reverie, total seriousness, pure delight, wit and grit, reduced house tracks, straight and dry techno, the Berliner by choice serves it all.
Counterchange label head, Ed Davenport also co-runs the Infrastructure New York imprint with Function. Counterchange is the home place for his releases under his techno guise, Inland.
As standalone artists, Cassegrain and Tin Man are formidable live acts, realising together on labels like Killekill and Infrastructure New York. Having this rare opportunity to see them join forces for a very special live show here at Village Underground is going to be something special.
Footing up the bill is our resident CSGRV, with his first release on Planet Rhythm with Jamie Haus under his belt and fresh from his first international appearance at GEM FEST in Georgia, there is a lot to look forward to from him in the coming year.
