Montreal-based DJ and musician Project Pablo has become something of a leader in Canada's house music scene. Through strong releases on labels like 1080p, Magicwire, and Hybridity Music, his stock has risen, and in the last few years he has been all over Europe and North America for club and festival dates. This year, his highly regarded 12'' 'Beaubien Dream' is making waves on the newly minted Sounds of Beaubien Ouest label that he co-owns. We feel lucky to have scored one of his coveted live performances!
Rounding out this lineup will be kindred spirits, leading lights of the Brooklyn house and techno scenes, and 1080p label-mates UMFANG and Max McFerren. Discwoman co-founder and DJ/Producer UMFANG has had a banner year - recently she played break-out parties Sustain-Release, Fine Time LA, and a 7-hour open-to-close set at Hot Mass in Pittsburgh. She'll soon head to Europe for a tour. Max McFerren has been on a similar tear, recently returning from his debut Asia tour, and dropping killer tracks on labels 1080p, Don't Be Afraid, and Allergy Season.
