  • Sat Aug 27 - The South London Soul Train celebrates the 9 Year Anniversary of The Bussey Building with a very special eclectic 4 floor, 5 room mash up of some of our favourite club nights at The CLF / Bussey. ADV SOLD OUT - MIN OF 500 TIX ON THE DOOR The South London Soul train continuing it’s on-going multi-level mission to seriously funk up your mind and body + force feed yoh soul with the absolute best of times. Level 1: It’s a South London Soul Train 1 Floor special. Your host with the absolute most JAZZHEADCHRONIC, joined on the DJ Love side by Mukatsuku Records Founder NIK WESTON and Legendary Turntablist A SKILLZ. The collective of DJ's dropping a combined 6 hr set of red hot uplifting anthemic soul, funk, groove, disco, beats, breaks n' brass on the dancefloor and wait for the sweat to fall. Strictly on the good foot. All Night Long Baby. The Trio of seriously funked up DJs joined by one of the most exciting, dynamic, future soul bands to ever hit the SLST stage. The simply outstanding PINK OCULUS. LIVE! PINK OCULUS In 2013 Esperanza introduced her alter ego Pink Oculus after working with visual artist and director Bouba Dola. Several still unreleased songs were created during that collaboration, among them was “sweat”. Badjekkah (two man electro hip hop band consisting of Mano Yeah & Gino Cochise) recreated & reworked “sweat” together with Esperanza and it was then independently released. The song got picked up by 3FM DJ Giel Beelen via Radio6 DJ Angelique Houtveen and he mentioned the single on the dutch national television show DWDD. After an impressive performance during the 2014 Eurosonic/Noorderslag Festival Pink Oculus backed by Badjekkah was able to embark on an national and international unofficial first tour which lasted throughout 2014. On February 27th 2015 the single ‘overdue’ was released to critical acclaim followed by relentless touring to date and the release of a new EP in May 2016. Live shows and Recordings that have put Pink Oculus firmly at the forefront of a new movement of progressive, 21st century soul music. Simply put, this band are on fire people + we can’t wait to welcome them to The South London Soul Train Stage. And things about to get even tastier...... Level 2 [Room 1]: Get Ready people as BUMP & HUSTLE MUSIC is seriously on. An all night celebratory strictly good time soulful house and disco session hosted by The Legendary PAUL TROUBLE ANDERSON. PTA joined by RHEMI MUSIC Founders, NEIL PIERCE & ZIGGY FUNK for more Sexy House N' Soul, Disco & Eclectic Funk Business - served up loud, bassy and direct to the whole of yoh soul. Righteous sounds from some of the best DJ’s around on the last Sat of each month at the CLF / Bussey. Level 2 [Room 2]: S'all about TRU SKOOL BEATS. Strictly 70’s to 80’s Soul, Funk & Disco to 90’s R n' B & Hip Hop, Reggae & Relative Grooves dropped in earnest by your host - Legendary DJ KEITH LAWRENCE without mercy.
