South West More Sunday with John Digweed, Danny Tenaglia, Ilario Alicante, Dense & Pika & More

  • After South West Four comes South West More. Taking place at one of the UK’s favourite spots, and just a stone’s throw away from our daytime location, Clapham Common, iconic venue Electric Brixton will host Sunday’s all-night party and continue the carnage we’ve got lined up for you at SW4 Sunday! With most of our line-up now confirmed, we’re excited to announce one of the most dynamic collections of electronic musicians set to join us on Bank Holiday Sunday 28th August. This official after-hours session will see Danny deliver his trademark sounds using his pioneering methods in an intimate setting to form a truly unmissable night. This will be Danny’s first London club performance in over a year meaning the demand to witness his brilliance in such a special environment is going to be huge. Having spent his summer entertaining the masses of Ibiza including Carl Cox’s Final Chapter at Space, Paradise at DC-10 plus standout performances at Detroit’s Movement and Kappa Music Festival, we can’t wait to welcome the DJ's DJ, Mr Danny Tenaglia to Electric Brixton for the first time This year marks the thirteenth appearance of John Digweed at South West Four, and thanks to his stellar reputation of entertaining our South London crowds in the daytime, we could think of nobody better to headline our South West More Sunday afterparty. This DJ and Producer has been grafting hard over the course of his twenty-year career, and it shows, with his sets going down in history as some of the best ever, and his record label, Bedrock going from strength to strength. His mixing skills are so legendary that he has released several mix albums, and he is so in demand that he has been booked everywhere, from Ibiza to Coachella. Wherever John Digweed goes, he brings the party with him, and we can’t wait for him to get the whole of Brixton moving well into the early hours. Also appearing at our exclusive South West More afterparty will be Italian DJ and producer Ilario Alicante. His rise to fame has been meteoric – debuting at Time Warp at the record-breaking age of fifteen, and now having played worldwide and produced records for labels as iconic as Sven Väth’s Cocoon imprint, he might be at the top of his game, but Ilario Alicante shows no signs of slowing down! Touring the world can’t be easy, and even though he’s playing at eight different European hotspots this summer alone, Ilario Alicante makes it look easy! His heavy, robotic take on electronic music makes for consistently fascinating and enjoyable listening, and we can’t wait to hear this legend spin for ourselves when he arrives in Brixton. Techno duo Dense & Pika do not just make music, but they live it. Touring on a weekly basis means that they’ve played in some of the most legendary venues in the world, from Space in Ibiza to elusive Berlin club Berghain and with London now firmly marked on the map as there next move, their arrival is huge.Their intense, hard-hitting techno tracks have taken them on an incredible journey to the top of the underground techno music scene, and have made them a cult favourite amongst those in the know, and their mixing skills keep crowds dancing week after week. We can’t wait for the whirlwind that is Dense & Pika to drop down at South West More, because we know that with these two, we’re in for a treat – and probably a few surprises!
