- D Double E’s impact and influence upon the grime movement is undeniable. Regularly referred to as your favourite grime emcee’s favourite emcee, everything from his stature and his poise, to his facial expression and his trademark hi top fade smacks of a very East London sort of realness. Abra Cadabra, an up and coming artist from North London, Tottenham. He made his mark on the game in 2015 with his Black Box where he showcased lyrics from his hit single Robbery. YGG — or You Get Grime — are taking things back to the early noughties, when the scene was about the art of spraying bars. Their online presence is rising fast thanks to tracks like Okay, a number of freestyles and general back-to-back mic-murking in Camden. MC’s PK, Saint and Lyrically Strally are a triumvirate of 20 years-old putting the grit back into grime.
