20 years in the game and still going strong, Roman Flügel is the founder and resident DJ at one of the most respected underground club nights in Germany: "Live at Robert Johnson”. Sitting sweet just across the river from Frankfurt, the club night finds its home in the intimate setting of Robert Johnson, an esteemed spot defined by impeccable sound, minimalist flair and a tight knit family of well knowledges musos behind it.
The club has nurtured a kinfolk of now highly respected artists, such as Gerd Janson, Ricardo Villalobos, Luciano and Flügel himself. From early days at the seminal club, the German artist has gone on to make his mark with labels like Dial & Cocoon, starting his own imprints Ongaky & Playhouse, as well as coining a knack for genre bending sets and impeccable track selection through ambient, IDM, House, Techno and yonder.
It gives us great pleasure to host an artist who we’ve been trying to get a date for since we opened, this one is not to be missed.
