Dopplereffekt
Inimitable electro duo Dopplereffekt are one of the most mysterious and consistently challenging entities in electronic music. Originated by Gerald Donald, one-half of Drexciya and also performing as Heinrich Müller/Der Zyklus/Japanese Telecom/Arpanet, Dopplereffekt recently resurfaced with 2013′s Tetrahymena EP on Leisure System as well as the wildly well-received split Hypnagogia 12″ with Objekt, also on Leisure System.
Xosar
American born, Berlin based producer Xosar and her beguiling sound is a mix of unnerving atmospheres and uplifting emotions, keenly bolted onto raw techno tempos and mystical house grooves. Already snapped up by super credible labels like Rush Hour and L.I.E.S, Xosar has turned out a steady stream of well-received singles and a debut full length is already on the way. What’s more, forthcoming material may surprise some people, as it marks some thing of a stylistic shift for this tasteful techno talent.
