Last year’s Take Note event introduced a new type of conference into the electronic music world, one aimed at people attempting to break into it rather than for those within. Over forty speakers from diverse roles in major record labels, management companies, mainstream media, lawyers, agents, esteemed prs, artists and many more all came together to discuss aspects of the industry that were previously kept under wraps.
This year Take Note is back to further educate, inspire and connect the next generation of our music industry. Young people in music are encouraged to build their own projects and identity, making an impact on the industry and opening doors for themselves in order to follow a career path that is exciting and potentially very lucrative, but one of the hardest to manoeuvre.
Hearing from the leading lights in electronic music, sharing their wisdom and offering advice, Take Note allows their delegates to enter this industry suitably armed and fully equipped to make the right choices and lead a fulfilling and successful career. Take Note plays a vital role in educating the next generation, those who will inevitably sculpt the future of our industry.
Bill Brewster will host a special three-part series of events in association with Take Note at Second Home in the run up looking at club culture and trends in the capital, the first of which is on Tuesday Sept 13th.
