Lady Leshurr - the U.K.’s rising star when it comes to hip-hop. She’s already garnered praise from the likes of Erykah Badu and we know how hard she is to please. The rapper is “ill,” according to the “Next Lifetime” singer and for good reason.
Academy alumna Sevdaliza is an autodidactic singer, songwriter, visual artist and composer/producer. Her creations contrast husky vocals with heavy basslines creating a mood that screams of temptation. Born in Iran and residing in the Netherlands, the 27-year-old has made quite a name of herself. Sevdaliza is a very passionate artist with a demanding vision in imagery/sound and an academic background in communication.
Fellow Academy graduate Krizzli first became active on a musical level as he started playing the clarinet aged 11. After a few years of classical and jazz instrumental activities, it's during a trip to Berlin in 2009 that the game changes for the first time: electronic music is a newfound love. The collaboration between Krizzli and The Square Member DeeJillz is born in 2015 from the Swiss' desire to experiment and record a vocalist for the first time. In the beginning of 2016, after several months of online discussion and musical exchange, they finally come together in the Red Bull Studios in Berlin to finalize 3 titles, incorporating Krizzli's usual raw bassy and club-oriented style, punctuated by DeeJillz's grimey vocal interventions.
