- Unsound has cemented its position as a major force in Krakow, helping define the city’s contemporary cultural identity via its annual festival. As previously revealed, Unsound is now taking things one step further, by working with cafe and bar Forum Przestrzenie to start a year-round club called 89 set to shake up the city’s nightlife. Positioned beneath the abandoned Hotel Forum in a former strip club, the club features untouched 80s communist-era decor evokes the atmosphere of a David Lynch movie. Pre-opening events already took place during Unsound in the shape of legendary (and slightly messy!) daytime after parties. Now it’s time for 89 to officially open. A major feature of 89 will be a series called All Night Long aka ANL, where DJ’s will have the opportunity to create an extended narrative via a single set throughout the arc of a night. The first in this series is the legendary DJ Bone, playing from 11pm until the very early morning.
