A Disco Stole My Baby

  • Ding ding, round two of the sweaty grapple between A Disco Stole My Baby and the underbelly, underpants and underclass of Kings Cross is soon to be upon us. Posturing in the back-to-front red shorts we have ADSMB – oiled and coiled, champion of little but deep dance, and more than likely to bite an ear in the heat of the Disco battle should it be necessary. While in an ill fitting Lycra monstrosity in blue swaggers Ladylux – dark and devastating, king of late night and early morning nightclub nonsense, and purveyor of tactically questionable Chinese burns. Push and shove to claim your seat ringside and witness first hand this overweight dancefloor clash, where blood, sweat and other bodily fluids will surely fly. Keep your guard up against an assault of deep Disco and even deeper House music as it bobs, weaves and ultimately knees you in the genitals. Floating like gutterflies and stinging like pee (metaphorically speaking) will be Neil Terry, Will Webster, Pete Dot, Better Days DJs and Garry Todd, as they rise from their stools in the DJ booth to flail wildly in the hope of landing some sonic body-blows upon the assembled dancers. Weigh in by getting in touch for guest-list and claim your ridiculous looking but recession busting fighters gown. Email [email protected] or send a Facebook message with names for the list and enter adorned in your quite possibly fictional gown for free before midnight and only $10 after. No gown means a dent in your potential prize pot and the risk of a nasty chill pre-bout. Remember, if your battered brain can manage it, to struggle onto the canvas soon after the bell to incur minimal bruising to your wallet with drinks deals and wet sponges early. Keep it below the belt and welcome along...
