For the second time in a row, the cult party Garçon Sauvage celebrates the New Year at Le Sucre.
Garçon Sauvage has a taste for the subversive, and this showcase night has quickly become an unmissable event. The transgender offspring of homosexual and queer cultures, founded by the Plusbellelanuit collective, it is an experimental stage on which several artists, DJs and musicians have performed. These include Vive La Fête, Zebra Katz, Travlator$, Crame, Hard Ton, Madmoizel, Reno, La Prohibida, Tom de Montmartre, Deep Neue, Mauro Feola, The Man Inside Corrine, Calling Marian and Bagarre, among others.
The audience play an active part in the spectacle, providing each evening with its own thematic mythology: sensitive bare-chested girls, gym queens in scarlet lipstick, tattooed drag queens, drag kings decked out in leather, masked bears and scandalous transvestites. Rules and genders are bent to breaking point in an atmosphere of festive madness; the very essence of queer.
