Roll up, roll up! Just Jack turns the ripe old age of 11. Rapidly approaching our terrible teens and it’s becoming clear we’re hell bent on growing old disgracefully.
Heading things up we have one of the true originators. Now famously known for his FLOORPLAN project, ROBERT HOOD is one of the godfathers of techno. A founding member of UNDERGROUND RESISTANCE alongside Mike Banks and Jeff Mills, it’s been a dream of ours to have him to Bristol for a veeeeerry long time. I think we actually might have sent our first email to his agent off the common-room N64 when we were still working at the school tuck shop. No lie. Notoriously tricky to book, but even more notorious for his ability to destroy a dancefloor, we’re super excited to have him for his JJ debut.
Joining him in the main room is the man with one of the coolest names in the biz. DJ BONE. This guy is a true champ of the underground. Also known for his excellent DJ DIFFER-ENT alias this is another Detroit cat with weapons of mass destruction in his record bag. We genuinely had to sign an extra special Health & Safety waver for this one. His set at Bloc in 2016 was off the chain and we're expecting more of the same.
We’re reaching levels of maximum pump for this one and we haven’t even got to the Marble Factory!! OPTIMO are 2 dudes who are without doubt some of the finest selectors to ever grace our decks. Famed for their seminal Sub Club residency, they dig super deep and have possibly caused more of those “WTF is this tuuuuune??” moments on the dancefloor than anyone we know! Laying it down alongside them is another familiar face, MIDLAND. It’s been 3 long years since he last played for us and in that time he’s gone from strength to strength becoming one of the scene’s brightest stars and one of the most exciting selectors in the bizz. We’re buzzing to have him back.
Finally, the Tunnel, often the sanctuary for the seasoned raver. We’ve rustled up a line up of 2 of our favourite new comers for y’all! Or new returner in the case of SOICHI TERADA. Riding an almost unstoppable wave at the moment, this guy is the king of good vibes. His re-release album on Rush Hour a couple years back was one of our favourite LPs of the last 5 years and we’re pretty confident his live show is gonna tear the roof off. JAYDA G joins him, fresh of the back of killer releases for her label with Fettburger, FREAKOUT CULT, and for Vancouvers 1080P. Her insatiable selections will no doubt have the tunnel seriously bubblin’!
As always, cover firs will come from our trusty rezzies DAN WILD and TOM RIO, plus we’ll have more nonsense, entertainments and party paraphernalia than you can shake a hook-a-duck at. This is gonna be one helluva party. Don’t miss it.
