Tolga Baklacıoğlu is a DJ/Producer from Turkey. Being a good listener from an early age, Tolga finally decided to make music at 17 and took up guitar and music harmony lessons. This led him to discover more sophisticated music genres like Jazz and Blues. He learned to play trumpet which saw him join a Blues band called "Harlot Money" during his college years.
Continuously searching for innovation, he discovered electronic music and started to collect vinyls and began DJing at the clubs in Ankara eventualy gaining residency at The Club 20 a year later. He now travels extensively playing in Berlin, Warsaw, Krakow, Wroclaw, Johannesburg, Cape Town and Chengdu. He played at the prestigious 10th Era New Horizons International Film Festival in Poland in 2010.
He always expresses his devotion to the techno scene in his dj sets. As a producer, he began to make his way in the architecture of creative and sophisticated minimalism. Already released on labels like Lebensfreude Records, Archipel Musique, Resopal Schallware, Park Recordings (under the moniker “Nodezsh”), Android Muziq, Labrynth, Living Records, Kalimari Musique, Psycle Records, but there is much more to come. His "Blues EP" vinyl had been reviewed by famous De:Bug Magazine.
He established his own vinyl only techno label called VENT in 2014. Having 11 releases so far, VENT releases have been played by Shifted in Boiler Room and features some new and established talents including Stephanie Sykes, Cindy, Miss Sunshine, Arbiter supported by remixers as Dasha Rush, DJ Skirt, Zadig, Cassegrain and Rebekah.
