  • ¦ ¦ We are launching a new Audio/Visual event series, Visceral ¦ ¦ Kicking things off: Henry Howe, from Flow Conceptions has designed a dynamically controlled LED installation for us inside the Island venue which we are really excited about showing you. Under the vague brief of 'Immerse Everyone', he has taken that idea to its logical conclusion and built a feature which fully envelopes the dance floor, making excellent use of the pre-existing architecture, creating a cocoon of light. ¦ Dot Product (Osiris Music uk) Head up the bill with a sound perfectly suited to the dark, eerie space. Bristol-based sound artists Adam Winchester (Adam Wedge) and Chris Jarman (Kamikaze Space Programme) are experts in sound design and manipulation of field recordings. Generating spectacular swathes of noise, tone and texture, combined with severe bass weight and subversive rhythms creating an intense, engrossing experience. Having released their debut album and performed at the Berlin Atonal and Simple Things Festival - Bristol this year, we couldn't be happier to have them play for us, it will be epic.. - https://soundcloud.com/dotproductsound/atmosphere-processor ¦ Supporting in a big way are 3 co-founders from Onnset Records with a special 3 hour B2B. They have been releasing experimental and brooding techno jams for quite some years. With remixes by the likes of Sunil Sharpe, Ansome and Truss, and an EP just released with a spicy Joe Farr remix, we look forward to hearing what they have in store - https://soundcloud.com/onnset/previews ¦ Warming up proceedings will be dub techno aficionado, El Choop. After honing his particular sound for a couple of years he has become a rising talent in the dub techno scene. He has grown from strength to strength this year with solid releases on Star Dub, ETUI Records and Default Position. He has also been exploring deep, analogue ambient sounds which we can honestly say are up there with some of the most inspiring tracks we have heard all year - https://soundcloud.com/el_choop/primary-reduction-05-10-15-my-master ¦ Starting off the night will be no ego's Patrick Young. Expect an unhurried yet big sounding introduction to the night, with dystopian soundscapes and slow bassy rhythms building in intensity. If you want to experience the LED system in all its glory then we recommend getting down for his set. ¦ We are blessed to have photographer Dan Skinner providing his images and James Ratcliffe his graphic design. *Grab an early bird while they are still available: http://hdfst.uk/E35329
