DOLBY D - For the first time in UK!
To many Techno heads this artist doesn't need any introduction, as he has been regularly releasing on some of the best labels out there, and also touring consistently around Europe, although he never played in UK so far. We are therefore delighted and proud to be the first ones to bring him to London and UK! Here is DOLMA REC label boss Dolby D !
Dolby D aka Mickael Davis began as a DJ in the 90's clubs in the South of France, and gradually started to produce is his own tracks. His energy and production skills made him cross over on a variety of labels. To date he signed more than 200 releases, of which more than 30 on vinyl, on over 120 labels, like Hex, Hidden US, Italo Business, Naked Lunch, Nachtstrom Schallplatten, Remain, Sleaze, Music From Exo Planet, Physical, Afu Limited, and Ben Sims label Theory, to name just a few.
He collaborated with many great artists, included A.Paul, Alex Bau, Alex Di Stefano, Hans Bouffmyhre, A.Mochi, Angy Kore, Axel Karakasis, Dandi & Ugo, Electric Rescue, Klaudia Gawlas, Mark Broom, Niereich, Steve Stoll, Todd Terry, Torsten Kanzler, Virgil Enzinger, Skober, and some of his songs are playlisted by great DJs around the World.
He toured extensively in festival and clubs, both as a live artist and as a DJ, with powerfull sets for the dancefloor. In 2014 Dolby D celebrated 20 years in the world of music with the creation of his label DOLMA REC, which in only 2 years was classified at number 8 among the best labels. 2017 is already shaping up well with new vinyl releases, a new album, remixes, wonderful collaborations and much more.
