- For those of you who have been dwelling under a rock over since last summer, Aeroplane are two disco producers originating from Belgium and who've been churning out track after track of disco goodness from their own production such as the sublime 'Caramellas' to their epic remixes of everyone from Sebastian Tellier to Grace Jones. The latter was originally turned down by Jones, but soon started to blow up dancefloors and blogs alike. This effect soon propelled them further into the mainstream and has garnered attention from everyone - even the Telegraph's economic editor! Their Soulwax produced album is due out later this summer and started a bidding war amongst all the major labels. They made their Glasgow debut for H&P last September and we defy anyone in attendance to deny it wasn't one of last years highlights. Mixing their own productions and remixes to Italo classics and downright party tunes, expect them to start your summer on a high! Advance tickets are available from Monorail and Tickets Scotland.
