Marking a first for both Ronnie Scott’s and Goldie, the electronic dance music producer appears with his new trail-blazing live ensemble– The Heritage Ensemble. The ensemble, containing musicians from the Heritage Orchestra helped bring Goldies’s 1995 landmark album, Timeless to life in in an incendiary show at London’s Festival Hall in 2015.
Following in the footsteps of jazz giants such as Miles Davis, Freddie Hubbard and Chick Corea, Goldie and The Heritage Ensemble will bring an intimacy to a selection of music that includes brand new arrangements of tracks from his 1995 landmark album, Timeless, named by The Guardian as one of the fifty most significant events in the history of dance music.
A long-time fan of Ronnie Scotts, Goldie is an artist used to selling out far larger venues, yet citing these dates as a defining moment in his career he says “this set of music reflects the most honest, and bold, insight into who I really am and where my heart wants to be.”
Live, this is an experience not to be missed. Mixmag described Goldie’s 2015 shows as “mindblowing” … his 2017 shows in London’s most iconic jazz club, promise to go even further.
Goldie will be joined by the Heritage Ensemble (members of the Heritage Orchestra) alongside vocalists Tyler Lee-Daley, Terri Walker and Natalie Duncan.
