- Pretty Simple, Last minute, Deep as Funk & Deep Impression present Konrad Black; Saturday 25th April. Canadian-born, Berlin-based Konrad Black has become one of the most in-demand DJs, producers and remixers of minimal and techno since he christened his Wagon Repair label in style with the massive tunes ‘Medusa Smile’ and ‘Draconia’. A firm fixture on Richie Hawtin’s ‘Minus’, his productions have become staples in the DJ bags of Hawtin, Magda and Troy Pierce as well as appearing on Swayzak and Ewan Pearson’s Fabric compilations and Sven Vath’s ‘Sound of the Sixth Season’ Cocoon compilation. Konrad’s much sought after production prowess has seen him release killer remixes for Tiga, Snax, Audion, Will Saul and M.A.N.D.Y., and his skills as a DJ are in high demand with a residency at Berlin’s legendary Panorama Bar and regular appearances on the festival circuit in Europe and the USA. This will be Konrad Black's exclusive and only Melbourne appearance.
