Remedy and PopGun present the NYC Debut of Khotin at the Gateway with boosted 4 point sound and a lovely roof deck! Since his initial moves towards house and techno genre experiments, Khotin has refined his unique slant on gentle acid and blurred yet effervescent hybrid house. While taking on the role of part manager of the label/party series Normals Welcome, Khotin has also become a mainstay in Vancouver's underground landscape, often throwing parties with close ties to the like-minded crew behind the Pacific Rhythm label. His brightly hued melodic landings have led to a stream of talked about releases on imprints such as 1080p, Pacific Rhythm, Normals Welcome, Heart To Heart, and Common Edit. Remedy and PopGun are very proud to present the NYC debut from this talented DJ and producer, it's going to be a really special and fun night.
Love Letters is another one of our favorites, his recent track on 2MR's Harsh Riddims release and his new 12" for CGI records are both very worth of your attention. He has graciously agreed to DJ for us and we are looking forward to having him.
Brooklyn's underground stalwarts, Amourette and Maroje T of Remedy, round out this strong lineup. These two know what's what, as evidenced by Amourette's recent trip to Pittsburg to play for standout party Hot Mass and their long reputation of bringing great artists to Brooklyn and performing strong sets.
