Room One prepares for a night of discerning selections as Nicolas Lutz steps up alongside Craig Richards. A key resident at Berlin haunt Club Der Visionaere, Lutz typically crafts a mix of spacey techno and subtle soundscapes from the most forgotten corners of electronic music. A master in unearthing overlooked gems and forgotten oddities, Lutz is the perfect accompaniment to join our resident digger Craig Richards. Having recently played together across London as Lutz’s profile has risen, the pair are by now well in sync to showcase their capabilities on our Martin Audio sound system. Joining them is Levon Vincent, the genius behind some of modern house music’s most iconic dancefloor tracks and the recent smasher ‘Arpeggiator Track’, the Novel Sound boss and Berlin head touches down to showcase his signature brand of deep house. The bill is finally rounded off by an appearance from EC1 regular and Toi Toi co-founder: Voigtmann.
Room Two is headed by one of UK techno’s most revered figureheads, Regis. As head of the Downwards label and one half of uncompromising duo British Murder Boys, his uncompromising approach to making and playing music has made him one of the scene’s most singular voices for the last 20 years. Joining him is recent breakthrough from Berlin’s Ostgut camp, Kobosil. Having impressed on MDR and Ostgut Ton and made his mark on the dancefloor of Berlin’s best known clubbing institution, Kobosil makes a timely return to Farringdon. Rounding off the bill is London local and robust techno selector Roberto touching down to test out our Pioneer Pro Audio rig.
