Detroit Love returns to Farringdon. We are very proud to once again dedicate an evening to the city that helped define a life-changing music style for so many of us, as we bring a full showcase honouring the sound of the Motor City to Room One. Heading proceedings is one of Detroit’s key players and leader of the city’s second wave, Carl Craig.
With a palette spanning jazzy, experimental and soulful within the techno paradigm, Craig’s extensive career has placed him as one of electronic music’s most respected figures. Craig is joined by a veteran digger and master of intriguing sets of wizardry spanning the full breadth of house and techno, Stacey Pullen. The bill is rounded off by Detroit don and more recent signing to Theo Parrish’s singular Sound Signature label, Waajeed.
Room Two is headed up by Terry Francis bringing his blend of toughened techno and house, alongside Black Asteroid’s now famous live set. The Room Two bill is rounded off with a special appearance from Patrick Graser, the man responsible for educating Berghain in a crossover of breakbeat and techno and more commonly known by his guise: Answer Code Request.
