RIPPED & JNR’s JAMM have plotted together to bring you a WEREWOLF! of a party, to unleash the beast and see you all howling well into Sunday.
These two brands synonymously known for their relentless floor-shaking music policy, amazing line-ups and their army of friendly up 4 it clubbers, complete with huge dance moves and zero ego, join forces to shake the Lightbox to its very foundations.
Topping the bill on this special occasion is MIKE MONDAY. With his releases on Playtime, OM and most recently Buzzin Fly, it’s hardly surprising that he is being championed by the likes of Claude Von Stroke and Tiefschwarz, and is headlining both this year’s Miami WMC and Sonar.
The other main attraction is JNR J. If you haven’t seen JNR work his magic yet then you are in for a treat, as this boy has the skills and charisma to take apart any crowd piece by piece and throw them back together in ways they don’t even understand yet.
Head over to Room 2 to experience 2 BIT THUGS and they’ll give you a pounding you won’t forget with their trademark gangster-house sound, which combines juddering basslines, heavy percussive beats and cheeky sampling.
And it’s DAN PROXY heading up the support, giving it that extra oomph in the way that only he knows how, with electro-tinged breakbeat-house that gets the crowd steppin’.
And all this is at London’s new-club-on-the-block: The Lightbox, which is rapidly becoming a smash-hit amongst clubbers in search of the new place to go.
