Fresh from two years promoting the Minimal Fuss parties, Sydney’s original minimal and techno night ‘Glitch’ is back in black at Club Nevermind on Friday 24th April with Canada’s Wagon Repair wunderkind, Konrad Black for an extended 3 hour set.
Now Berlin-based, Konrad Black has become one of the most in-demand DJs and producers of minimal and techno since he christened his Wagon Repair label in style with the massive tunes ‘Medusa Smile’ and ‘Draconia’.
A firm fixture on Richie Hawtin’s cooler than thou label ‘Minus’, his productions have become staples in the DJ bags of Hawtin, Magda and Troy Pierce as well as appearing on Swayzak and Ewan Pearson’s Fabric compilations and Sven Vath’s ‘Sound of the Sixth Season’ Cocoon mix.
With killer remixes for Tiga, Snax, Audion, Will Saul and M.A.N.D.Y., a residency at Berlin’s legendary Panorama Bar, acclaimed appearances on the US and European festival circuit and with the upcoming Watergate Mix CD under his belt, Konrad Black has serious minimal techno pedigree and the skills to rock the party.
