We do not find a better way to our debut at Sala Caracol than celebrating our anniversary. Nothing less than 5 years is what Trauma accomplishes as a collective. For this occasion, we want to offer the performances of some of the most interesting artists in the current techno scene, especially if we focus on the most industrial and experimental rhythms. The artists who will participate in this event are:
OAKE live (Downwards, Noiztank / Berlin)
Oake are Eric Goldstein and Bathsheba Zippora, two sonorous alchemists based in Berlin who produce their own particular variant of dark and atmospheric techno. Its sound, published in Downwards and Noiztank, is strongly influenced by events that occurred during the post-industrial era in England, always with a halo of occultism. Their show will be an experience that can be lived for the very first time in Madrid, by the hand of Trauma.
Zosima live (Noiztank, Vienna)
Could not miss the date this old acquaintance of Trauma, Zosima. He is responsible for Noiztank, a label founded in Vienna in 2014. A label that fits perfectly with the philosophy of Trauma. Techno, risk and experimentation, with industrial failures and lot of darkness. A very curated and avant-garde aesthetic makes their 12" pure pieces of art. Part of that aesthetics is also to remain in the dark being nearly impossible to find much information of Zosima or his label apart from what can be found in Discogs. It all takes part of a sound ritual that focus the attention in their production and edition. An invitation to immerse yourself in his music and enjoy his devastating live performance.
Domenico Crisci (Jealous God, Summa Cum Laude, Naples)
Since his debut in 2014 in Russian Torrent Versions, and later on his mother label, L.I.E.S., this young producer and Italian DJ has strengthen a reputation for breaking legs and smashing necks, with his 90’s techno bangers, sometimes acid, others simply classy, minimalist techno. Notorious selectors such as Marco Shuttle or Silent Servant, have chosen more recently for their respective labels, Eerie and Jealous God. This has given Crisci wings to launch his own platform, Summa Cum Laude, where he will continue unleashing his creativity. For Trauma, we will offer a DJ set that seems to be epic, at his premiere in the capital.
This night Muted will play along them on behalf of Trauma. Game Over and Tellez will take care of the visuals.
