Nach der ausgedehnten Tour zu ihrem Album „Adaption“ auf Kompakt melden sich Hunter/Game heute in Berlin zurück und übernehmen mit ihrem Label „Just this“ den Mainfloor im Watergate. An ihrer Seite spielt das ukrainische Duo Woo York aus Kiev, das mit seinen Liveacts schwerelos zwischen Klangforschung und Club-Setting agiert, und der aus Belgien stammende Dj Locked Groove. Ein Stockwerk tiefer kann man bei Camea auf dem Waterfloor einiges erleben. Nach dem sie Anfang und Mitte der 2000er mit Clink Recordings eine Vorreiterrolle für minimalen Techno inne hatte, offenbart sie auf Ellen Allien BPitch Control und ihrem eigenen Label Neverwhere seit einiger Zeit eine Leidenschaft für noch viel weitere Soundlandschaften.

Woo York are techno's men on the mission. Since the start of their career back in 2009, the Kiev-based duo has come a long way from being Ukraine capital’s local heroes to becoming an internationally recognized live act with their own signature sound. And it is right now when they’re making a step forward by constantly widening their audience globally.
HUNTER/GAME
Balance is the key to Hunter/Game's music. It's part of growing up in Milan - a sophisticated urban centre for film, fashion and art, but whose inhabitants relish the contrast of spending reflective time in the nature that surrounds the city.
It started in 2010 with the "Just This" parties. Hunter/Game's own party, held in secret locations round the city, Just This has made Milan a compulsory stop for electronic music scene
LOCKED GROOVE
The ever shifting landscape of techno and house has been a fertile ground for new talent, the Belgian-born & Berlin-based Locked Groove is one to emerge from this.
Both his productions and dj sets share the effortless luster of classic Chicago anthems and the eerie qualities of raw industrial jams. This crossover complexion showcases a bold vision that puts him miles ahead of the tropes with an uncompromising influence.
It comes as no surprise that none other than Scuba picked up on Locked Groove’s sound in 2012. His debut and follow-ups on Hotflush were all uniformly lauded. His other releases on Life & Death, Permanent Vacation and his long-awaited remix of Pional’s “It’s All Over” were met with just as much critical acclaim. Then there’s Locked Groove Records, his eponymous label, carrying his most personal work to date.
2016 will be the year that marks his affiliation with Afterlife, the new imprint of Tale of Us. Locked Groove’s momentum seems nowhere near breaking point.
