- As New York’s longest active independent dance label, Nervous Records is currently celebrating 26 years in business. The Nervous catalogue includes seminal tunes from luminaries such as Josh Wink, Armand Van Helden, Masters At Work (Louie Vega and Kenny Dope), Murk (Oscar G and Ralph Falcon), Frankie Knuckles, David Morales, Paul Van Dyk, Roger Sanchez, Kerri Chandler and more. One of the label’s strengths has been its ability to adapt to the changing nightlife environment. During its 26 year lifespan Nervous has had great success within the house, hip-hop, techno, deep house and indie dance genres as those respective sounds have emerged during this time period. For DJs and club-goers around the world, the distinctive Nervous logo featuring a cartoon DJ with a record going through his head will forever represent the sounds and flavor of night and DJ culture.
